Recorder Concert 2016
The third graders performed group songs and individual solos at this year's recorder concert. They worked diligently to earn "belts" and practice playing on top of their other homework. Thank you to Mrs. Cheung for being a supportive music teacher and organizing the show!
Field Day!
3M had a blast using teamwork during all of the Field Day activities. Thank you to Mrs. Cheung, who played with our class the whole day!
Boston Tea Party Museum
On Tuesday, May 3st, third graders visited the Boston Tea Party Museum on Congress Street. We pretended we were Patriots and threw tea overboard!
Two Bear Cubs
On April 8th, third graders performed a play based on a Miwok legend titled "Two Bear Cubs." We practiced reading lines fluently while following stage directions!
Star Lab
On February 29th, Star Lab from the Boston Museum of Science set up a dome in the gymnasium. We watched a presentation about the sun, moon, and planets under a recreation of the night's sky!
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
On February 25, 2016, third graders visited the Gardner Museum. We can't wait to decorate tiles like those we saw in the Spanish Cloister!
MLK Buzz Assembly
On January 29, 2016, third graders performed a tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr. at the school wide Buzz Assembly. They sang a challenging song with strength and feeling!
Holiday Party 2015

Harvard Museum of Natural History
On December 18, 2015, third graders visited the Harvard Museum of Natural History. While there, we had the opportunity to view an interactive presentation about rocks and minerals!
Reading Buddies 2015
Today we had our second visit to Mrs. Woodward's kindergarten classroom. We are lucky to be reading buddies with her class this year!
Powwow 2015
On November 24, 2015, third graders participated in a Native American celebration to culminate their first social studies unit. Thank you to all of the parents who volunteered and attended!
Feast 2015
Native Americans and Pilgrims gathered together on November 19, 2015 for the annual Thanksgiving Feast!
Harvest Party
Thank you to Mrs. Pollenz, Mrs. Creedon, Mrs. Ladd, Mrs. Kachel, and Mrs. Shelsy for a wonderful Harvest party on October 30th. We played pumpkin bowling, listened to a story, and decorated glass lanterns. It was so much fun!

On October 2, 2015, Becca and Grace read "Hey, Little Ant" by Hannah and Phillip Hoose. Caroline then read the popular "Dog and Cat."
Native American Perspectives
On October 1, 2015, Dan Cripps and his team gave us a Native American's perspective. We listened to Native American stories, learned about various cultures, and even built a tepee!
