Field Day
We had an amazing day last Friday, June 8th. Everyone participated and encouraged each other!
TRI Fairy Tales
During TRI, Mrs. Martel's group put on two plays. These parodies were an entertaining way for us to practice fluency! One group performed "Spiderella," and the other acted out "The Ugly Woodpecker."
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
On March 19, 2018, third graders visited the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. We couldn't take many pictures in the Museum, but we had a great time on the bus!
Harvard Museum of Natural History
On February 13th, third graders visited the Harvard Museum of Natural History. We saw a rocks and minerals presentation, and then explored the Museum!
Holiday Party
On December 21st, parents organized an amazing holiday party for our class. We played Holiday Pictionary, enjoyed snacks, participated in a guessing game, filled bags with reindeer food, and created cards for the homeless. We are so thankful for the fun and memorable time!
South School Feast
The third graders all enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving lunch on Thursday, November 17th!
Native American Perspectives
On November 2, 2017, Dan and Cathy taught us to think from the perspective of Native American tribes across the United States. With cooperation and good listening, we were able to build a life-size tipi.
Harvest Party, 10/27/17
Parent volunteers and Room Parents organized and led a fantastic Harvest Party. There were games, snacks, crafts, and stories to enjoy!
Plimoth Plantation, 10/13/17
On October 13th the third graders enjoyed walking through the Pilgrim Village and Wampanoag Homesite at Plimoth Plantation. It was a beautiful day, and we learned so much from the artists and actors.
Third Grade Bike Rodeo, 9/15/17
The third graders had a blast at today's Bike Rodeo! Whether they were directing bike traffic, riding along the obstacle course, taking photos, or assisting Officer John, everyone did their part. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped out!
