Day 9

Hi Third Graders!

This weekend we spent time outside on Saturday, and time inside on Sunday. On Saturday we went for a walk and enjoyed a picnic at Webb Park. It was cool and windy, but we were just happy to be outdoors! Margot also used chalk for the first time in our backyard and kept trying to eat it! Next time we have a picnic I might try Turkey Hill, which I read about online. Have any of you ever been to Webb Park or Turkey Hill?

On Sunday Sabine did a lot of painting. As you can see, she likes to paint her arms, the table, and the high chair. I guess she is a typical two-year-old!

I miss you all and wish I could hear your weekend news. Share something about your weekend below if you have time!

Love,
Mrs. Martel

Hi Chloe! It sounds like you've been cooking some amazing things at your house. Does your family like to try new recipes, or do you have traditional ones you use often? I've never tried lime bars, but I love lime and key lime desserts...YUM.

Thanks for all the advice, Sam! I am definitely going to take my family there next week if there is nice weather. We will look for your Geocache! Maybe I should buy some watercolors to try with Sabine - they will be more difficult to use, but less messy I bet :)

Hi Paige! I have to be careful Margot doesn't eat too much! Maybe next time I can bring out her pacifier, and she can suck on that while she is coloring :)
